We are shutting out the voice of death and releasing all fears
Only believing in the infinite power that never fails
We are shutting out the voice of death and releasing all fears
Well, I would have expected anything from my son at the age of 31, except writing poetry!(kids at any age still can have some surprises!)
ReplyDeleteLast weekend was an AHA Moment for both of us which made a Poet out of him ...a poet that didn't know it.
I still can't believe what had happened. Amir was lying down on the bed and I was standing by him when the radiology Doc. told him into his face that: YOU ARE GOING TO DIE!!!
Still I cant believe it. He was so calm and relax and just told the Doc that he doesn't have right to talk to him in this way. He is there to take care of an infection in his belly and that's all the radiologist suppose to do for him.
That was the AHA Moment. He decided to shut them out and focusing on his inner power and empowering himself.
Kids can surprise you at any age.....
did you write this yourself Amir? amazing...am so proud of you for finding strength where most people only find fear and weakness. and remember my gorgeous cuz, what doesn't break you, makes you stronger...love ya lots and kiss to you.
ReplyDeleteand Afsaneh joon, I agree with Amir whole heartedly...no one person is in a position to tell another how to fight their fights and if and when they should give up. And am sure Amir is much closer to that Power than he is letting any of us know - and rightly so, it's his very own connection- and so he draws strength in the knowledge bestowed to him by a much greater presence than any doctor or radioligist!! ;)
you rock cuz, keep rhyming! ;)
Such a beautiful poem! WOW! I thought you got this out of some old Persian poetry book! There you go...I gave it away! I don't know much poetry!! :SSS
ReplyDeleteI love it, it's so powerful...just like hitting a tennis ball with all force. It moved me.
The #%@$# radiologist is a fearful FOOL. He cannot face his own fears and therefore he throws it for other people to do it for him!
A positive, hopeful, optimistic person would never use such tone with anyone. Amir joonam, eshgham, you showed him how a real MAN should talk and think.
Love you both so much. XOXOXOXO
I thought the poem was Hafiz or someone! You have become such a creative force through this journey. We all would love to hear that voice to help us unite with you. Thank you for sharing your wisdom.

I was looking through some old photo's remembering back to Breckenridge. I remember you boys snowboarding out of bounds. I apologize to your mother if she reads this. I am sure she thought a responsible adult was watching you and would not allow that to occur. I am sure as she knows you better than anyone. she also knows you made up your own rules then. And you will make them up now. They lead to the best adventure don't they...
ReplyDeleteYou cannot imagine how far your spirit and resolve is touching people. You are inspiring people to make life changing decisions. You have been making many look inward who may not of done so in a long time, and from that place pours the love in return, that you are getting so much of.

In talking to my parents this morning they shared with me many unfortunate examples where doctors have overstepped their bounds and made statements that have absolutely been discounted by patient recovery; in some cases full recession of their cancer despite grim comments. In working with some doctors in wireless health we see that some doctors see themselves as god-like, but in reality they are nothing close to it and a positive mental attitude and a relationship with god with the support of friends and family can defy the odds. My dear friend Amir is an extraordinary person and his mental attitude as well as his physcial shape will allow him to defy odds and live a long happy life. Like I mentioned last week, my visit with him in the hospital was soooo encouraging that despite knowing his ailment, he really looked and behaved quite typical, and I left feeling very comforted by that and knowing he will persevere. All the best and loads of love, Jason E.
ReplyDeleteHappy going home again Amir joon & enjoy Ostad's dvd.
ReplyDeleteSee you soon,

Love you Amir joon, you keep positive and ignore these comments. You should have told him that he will die too. We will all die. he could die before anyone else...who knows what destiny will bring....Take control of your destiny.
ReplyDeleteThat doctor has a dead soul...bastard...oops, there I said it.
